We have openings for volunteers with our self help groups held in the community and in Federal penitentiaries in southern Alberta.  Meetings are held at least twice a month (usually on weekend) and volunteers are asked to commit to at least four hours a month. Ongoing training is provided and eligibility for security clearance with the Correctional Services of Canada is essential. Volunteers are always accompanied by experienced Seventh Step staff at all times.

Resumes are currently being accepted for casual on-call relief personnel at our Halfway House (CRF) in Calgary.  Shifts include days, evenings, and overnight (males only). Duties involve light housekeeping, basic documentation, and ongoing contact with residents.  Relief employees are given first consideration when permanent positions become available.  Candidates must be eligible for security clearance with the Correctional Service of Canada.
